Warranty

Rocky Mountain Mattress stands proudly behind all of our quality products. These specialty sleep systems will be delivered to you free of defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights as the purchaser. Additional rights may vary from state to state.

Please keep in mind that body impressions are a normal part of memory foam mattresses, and impressions of up to 1.5 inches do not constitute a defect. Body impressions indicate that the heat-sensitive material is conforming to your individual body shape.
Replacement and Repair: Every effort will be made to repair or replace a defective product with the exact materials of the original product. When this is not possible, Rocky Mountain Mattress reserves the right to substitute with materials of equal or greater value.

The following warranties are included with each RMM product:

Mattresses:

RMM warrants to the original purchaser, if a defect is found in the material or workmanship, we will inspect, and, at our option, replace or *refund the product under the terms and conditions of this warranty. We reserve the right to substitute models if the original models are no longer available.

This warranty covers defects in manufacturing and does not apply to any defects caused by misuse, improper assembly, negligence, accidental damage or regular wear. If purchaser uses an inappropriate foundation, adjustable bed base or bed frame with this mattress, such use will void this limited warranty.

RMM shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product arising out of any breach of this warranty. The exclusive remedy for this limited warranty shall be the replacement or refund of the purchase price plus freight as set forth herein.

To obtain performance under this limited warranty, contact RMM to explain the defect and arrange with our customer service representative for the return or refund of the defective mattress. Original proof of purchase and identification information from your law tag is needed to establish and validate your warranty rights. Do not remove the law tag at the end of your mattress. If further information is needed regarding this limited warranty, contact our customer service department at: csr@rockymountainmattress.com

No other warranty is expressed or implied.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not permit limitations on how long an implied warranty may last. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so either or both of the above limitations may not apply to you.

The RMM mattress limited warranty covers the following:

Body impressions or visible indentations that measure 1.5” or greater provided that the mattress has been continuously supported by a foundation, adjustable bed base or equivalent, and used with an appropriate frame with center supports, or a minimum of 5 cross slats with center supports that extend to the floor.

Years 1 through 10 – Full Coverage

RMM will not charge the purchaser to replace or refund the purchaser’s mattress if it is deemed defective during the first 10 years of this limited warranty. Any transportation costs associated with the replacement of the mattress are the purchaser’s responsibility. The warranty for the replacement mattress runs from the date of the original purchase of the replaced mattress. No new warranty is provided with a replacement mattress.

All claims relating to the limited warranty products should be made by contacting Customer Service at: 866-733-3132 or sending an email to csr@rockymountainmattress.com or in writing to:

The RMM mattress limited warranty does not cover:

  • A normal increase in the softness and recovery time associated with memory foam and latex materials over time which does not affect the pressure relieving qualities of these materials.
  • Bedding sold “as is”, or floor samples, or product sold by unauthorized resellers who are not authorized dealers.
  • Bedding used in hotels or institutional facilities.
  • Bedding that is unsanitary, stained, or soiled.
  • Damage or abuse to the mattress including but not limited to cuts, tears, burns, or liquid damage.
  • Sheet fit, bedding height, corner guards, or comfort preference.
  • Damage to the mattress when used with an improper foundation, adjustable base, or bed frame with inadequate structural support.
  • Replacement of an accompanying piece in a sleep set that is not defective.
  • Transportation and inspection costs.

*Products damaged due to improper mattress/foundation support, mishandling, cleaning and overall mistreatment will not be covered. Rocky Mountain Mattress, its partners, and vendors retain the right to inspect all returned products to evaluate product condition and has sole determination regarding if products will be replaced or pro rated credit be issued. Customers will be liable for any return costs on warranty claims, not limited to shipping and packaging supplies to and from our facilities. Rocky Mountain Mattress is not liable for returned products that are lost in shipment or damaged.

**Please note: Mattress profiles are measured in inches of foam before the mattress cover is applied to the mattress. Applying the cover may constrain the foam reducing the total profile up to one inch. Mattress profile reductions up to one inch are standard and are not considered a manufacturer's defect. This is not a cause for a warranty claim or cancellation of order.
