Natural latex is poured in a mold that contains small metal posts in order to create ventilation holes in the finished product. The toppers are then cut to size along these perforation holes creating what can appear to be small irregularities around the holes or the edge of the foam. However, this effect is natural and not a sign of defect in the product.
