Little Known Methods to Extend the Life of Your Mattress
With as much as you pay for a mattress these days you want to make it last as long as you possibly can, right? Of course you do. One tip for a new mattress owner, in order to help them prolong the life of their mattress is to get a mattress pad. Seems simple I know, but do you have a mattress pad on your mattress right now? Probably not.
For example, I have a four year old that has been potty trained for over a year now, but still needs to sleep in the training pants at night. Well, the training pants don’t always keep the pee in, and you are left with a nice little mess. We do not worry though because we have a mattress pad that protects the mattress. We simply just take it off, throw it in the washing machine and the mattress is untouched from pee and dry. If I did not have a mattress pad not only would I have to worry about the smell of pee and how clean I could actually get the mattress, but it tears away at the inside of the mattress decreasing its lifespan.
